The Haxtun Hospital District Foundation, charted in 1994, is a non-profit, tax-exempt foundation with a mission of supporting the Haxtun Hospital District with a focus on health and wellness in the community. The Foundation Board is overseen by a passionate group of volunteers. Over the years the foundation has provided funds to the hospital for laboratory equipment, clinic improvements, recruitment efforts, and scholarship assistance for employees while continuing to grow their endowment.

The Board believes the community is very fortunate to have a highly qualified medical staff, dedicated and committed to providing exceptional health care. Dr. Breck McCarty, and Dr. Craig McCarty as well as Nurse Practitioner Sarah Tischer, serve the community with excellent medical care and leadership. The nursing, lab, radiology, clinic and rehabilitation staff continue to maintain high standards in patient care.

Looking back over the years, the Foundation Board recognizes that one critical element linked to the success of the community has been Haxtun Hospital District. They express great appreciation for ongoing dedicated interest in and support of their mission.

Should you choose to donate to the Haxtun Hospital District Foundation, the board wants you to be aware of the benefits. The amount of your contribution will be fully deductible under federal tax laws. If you live in Colorado, due to the Board's Colorado Enterprise Zone Status, any contributions over $100 will have additional Colorado income tax credit. The Foundation also welcomes any gifts of grain, land, or other assets.
